Another bio. and I have been meaning to finish these finalized bios up. Still having trouble with paint, so here's the written bio

Carol-An (born Carol-En)

Species: Mobian Echidna
Age: Ages Chronologically throughout fic. Is roughly six months younger than Sonic (husband) and twelve years younger than Dr. Finitevus (first cousin)
Abilities:
1. Basic self-defense
2. Fortune telling. Methods include, but are not limited to

- cartomancy/ tarot reading

- tasseography
- ostocracy

3. White Magic/ Echidna occult; Carol- An is capable of, but rarely demonstrates the ability to cast spells and will even deny her involvement in magic when confronted by others about it (unless it is a paying customer inquiring). She can cast a variety of moderate spells as protective enchantments/ cloaking spells and manipulative bewitchery such as that of love spells
4. Vast medical knowledge of holistic medicine/ physical therapy and pre modern surgical procedures
5. Good Ol’ fashion woman’s intuition
Chaos Abilities:
None: Carol- An’s abilities are strictly hands- on magic based. She is not a chaos being
Weaknesses:
1. Black magic and counter spells derived from black magic/ necromancy/ technomagic
2. Her past; Being a former student of Dr. Finitevus and a practitioner of magic has earned her a reputation for being suspicious and untrustworthy by many who do not know her personally
3. Her own craft. Magic can and does backfire even on the most advanced mages

Back Story: Born into a family consisting half of scientists and half of occult practitioners, Carol- En grew up a free spirited flower child in Albion with her two brothers, (Wind- Burst [older] and Brisk [younger]) and her cousin, Finitevus. She was very close to Finitevus, having looked up to him as a friend, a pot buddy (we’re talking Fini’s college days here) and a spiritual mentor. She learned the majority of her fortune telling/ occultist techniques from him. Carol- En, like the rest of her family did not predict Finitevus’s chaos mutation would drastically warp his personality and drive him to commit such violent and hateful crimes against the city. She was caught totally by surprise during the annihilation of Albion. After witnessing her parents deaths during the destruction, she her brothers were sent to the egg grapes. All three were mysteriously rescued and have no recollection as to how it happened.
Soon after, she traveled the surface of Mobius for a new home only to split up with her brothers and settle permanently on Angel Island (under the close supervision of Knuckles). She set up shop as a fortune teller and holistic healer. Many inhabitants on the island, after discovering Dr. Finitevus’s involvement in Albion’s destruction, began to suspect ill of her so she took on the surname “An” and abandoned all ties with her bloodline to keep her business going. She met Sonic and his daughter Riley on Angel island when Sonic brought Riley to her for treatment for a bad cold. She and the famous hero soul touched (or as it currently seems) and married. In New Mobotropilis, Carol- An continues to practice fortune telling and holistic healing. She is also strengthening her magic in the hopes she will one day be strong enough to go against Dr. Finitevus

other fun little facts about this character...1. Her design is based off of a classmate of mine in my painting 1 class in college. 2. Her name was inspired by the Misfits song "Shining" more specifically the verse "Carol Ann Carol Ann she can hear souls sing" 3. K-chan and I both are aware of how big a no no it is to pair Sonic with a fan character, but did so anyways. We have our reasons. Don't judge us, damn it! XD
